A recognition breakfast for area farmers will be held on Friday, September 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Monmouth Country Club, 1400 Country Club Lane, Monmouth. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the breakfast and is courtesy of the Monmouth Country Club, G & M Distributors, Inc./Pepsi, M&E Catering, Consolidated Grain & Barge, FS, Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau, Elliott Brothers Seed Co., and WRAM AM 1330.
 

The breakfast will be free and is a goodwill gesture to reinforce the purpose of the Warren County Prime Beef Festival, which is to promote our agricultural heritage. Our guest speakers include Senator Jil Tracy, State Representative Norine Hammond, Josiah Williams (Advocate Outreach on behalf of Congresswoman Cheri Bustos), and Rob Jansen (Graduate of Abingdon-Avon and Vice President of the Illinois FFA). The keynote speaker will be Joni Bucher (Illinois Beef Association President).
 

The 25th annual event will broadcast live on AM 1330 WRAM/FM 94.1 followed by RFD Today hosted by DeLoss Jahnke at the Monmouth Country Club from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. The Annual FS Fall Ag Roundtablewill broadcast from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. from Midwest Bank of Illinois on WRAM and WAIK.
